On the Hudson · Since 1911
A Macdonald and Raynor golf course, a Gilded Age mansion and the river view that founded them both. Up the river from Manhattan, a world away.
The design
Charles Blair Macdonald, the father of American golf architecture, and his engineer Seth Raynor built the course on the bluffs above the Hudson. Its template holes, borrowed from the great links of Scotland, still ask the same questions a century on.
The course

“The river is the eighteenth member of every foursome.”Sample quote
